Will it explode?

Any power supply COULD fry a motherboard. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it's gonig to kill it right away, it just means it doesn't have the power some of the more expensive/beefy ones do...

is it gonna hurt my system im building now...(see my sig)

just so you know, you mentioned a crappy PSU would cause overvoltage, well, thats not strictly true, most likely to be undervoltage if you get a crappy one, if its undervolting then it wont be supplying key components with enough power to work efficiently, this will cause their lifespan to decrease, so it is in you best interest to spend at least say $60 US on a half decent one.

a failing PSU can have VERY strange effects. And power surges are not uncommon

do u think itll hold me off for a few months???....all it is, is a default case psu that came with my Xion II case...(like 450 watts or something)

EDIT: he's got 18A on the 12, so he should be fine...

when you get the 6600GT then get a new PSU, integrated isnt going to use alot of power, just dont overclock, while running 3DMark06, i was overclocked to about... 2.95GHz, and i laid back and closed my eyes.... then i hear a "Poof" and then silence.... no computer hum.... and i sat up and was like.... shiiiiiiiit, and unpluged it.... lol
