I am thinking of upgrading the memory of my Dell computer. It is a Dell Dimension 8100 series (year 2000). There is only two problems I have: 1. Its a Dell. 2. It carries Rambus (too expensive).
I went to newegg.com to look up some inexpensive and good Rambus memory and came up with this. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-150-206&depa=1
I do not know if it will fit. Some people tell me Dell usually makes parts to fit it's own computers, but with the market growing on computer parts I would assume third market parties would find some way of making products fit most computers.
If the memory in the link doesn't fit, can someone help me find the right part? I would really appreciate it.
-Thanks
