Hi guys i have an ABIT AG8 Motherboard, currently on a Nvidia GeForce 6600 GFX CARD. The motherbaord is DDR Memory. I was looking at purchasing an Nvidia GeForce 8400GS, will my motherboard run this? like it wont burn out or anything?

plus the GFX card is DDR2, where my motherboard is only DDR, will this cause a problem? thanks
 
it will run as long as the 8400 gs is pci express (which i think it will be as nividia stopped making agp cards a while ago)
as for your question about the ddr
graphics card memory is not linked to the memory on the motherboard so it will run
for example my motherboard only supports ddr but my graphics card works perfectly and has gddr3.
