Hi,
This is my first build, so I apologise if I've chosen something that's not compatible or seen as 'noobish' to the more experienced people. I have a budget of £800, and I wish to build a fairly decent gaming rig that won't be out-dated after a few months of use, and be able to play some of the more popular games such as Battlefield 3 and Far Cry 3.
Here's a link to my build from pcpartpicker.com: http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/p/u4jl
or, for a quicker look:
- Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
- ASRock Z77 Pro4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
- G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
- Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
- MSI Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card
- Zalman Z9 ATX Mid Tower Case
- SeaSonic 520W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
- Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer
- Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)
Total: £798.67
If someone could let me know what this PC would be like, then that would be great. Any better suggestions for components would help to, but I am really trying to keep the build to a maximum of £800 else I'd have to save up even longer (being a student). Also, would I need to purchase an additional extension for wifi?
Thanks
