I am curious if my laptop will run this game before I open it.

My computer:
Dell e1405 1.6 centrino duo T2060 processor
1GB RAM
945 Intel chipset express integrated graphics
running vista 32 bit home basic

Game requirements: Farming Simulator 2011

Intel Processor Pentium 4 3.0GHz
AMD Processor Sempron 3400+

Nvidia Graphics Card GeForce GT 210 512MB

ATI Graphics Card Mobility Radeon HD 5470 512MB

RAM (Memory) 1 GB

Hard Disk Space 1 GB

Direct X 9

I am pretty sure that my processor will handle it. I am NOT sure about the graphics. The computer is pretty much stock and has enough HD space.

How can I test if a system will run the game if I do not have the computer?? The above link said my computer will not run it so I have been looking at a system with these specs:

I am looking for a laptop to run FarmSim11. I am looking at purchasing something along the lines of something with these specs. How will it do?

windows 7 premium 64 bit
Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual Core Processor P6200 (2.13 GHz, 3MB L3 Cache)
512MB DDR3 Radeon(TM) HD 6470M Graphics[HDMI, VGA]
4GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
320GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support

Some other options that are available...Tell me if any of these would make a huge difference
Peocessor options
Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual Core Processor P6300 (2.26 GHz, 3MB L3 Cache)
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-380M Dual Core Processor (2.53 GHz, 3MB L3 Cache)
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-390M Dual Core Processor (2.66 GHz, 3MB L3 Cache)
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-480M Dual Core Processor (2.66GHz, 3MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 2.93GHz

Graphics options
1GB DDR3 Radeon(TM) HD 6470M Graphics [HDMI, VGA]

Hard drive options Is the 7200 RPM better? vs a larger capacity?
250GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
320GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
500GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
500GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
640GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
750GB 5400RPM Hard Drive

Obvisouly if I got the larger processor and 1 gig video it would be better but would it be that much better to be worth the cash?

That computer should be able to run the game. The 6470 is on about the same performance level as the games minimum of 5470. The 6470 will have less heat, and less power draw than the 5470 though.

The extra graphics memory would help some in the game. Depending on the price though, I would skip it.

7200 RPM hard drives will help your boot time, and access data faster. Better in a gaming computer, as the levels will load faster.

I dont think that the CPU upgrades there would help you much in the game, as from teh specs posted, the game doesnt seem to be very CPU intensive. Seems to be more GPU dependant.
