Will my phenom II 940 be a bottleneck to my 4870 1gb gpu?

I was wondering this, I don't want any bad bottlenecks when I get my system finished. At stock speeds, I want to know if it will bottleneck my HIS hitech 1gb 4870. If it will, I reckon I will overclock it if I can figure it out

No it won't. PhenomII's currently perform slightly better than intel's core 2's so you won't have any problems there.

don’t think it would to much but sounds like over clocking time to me after all if your not going to oc mite as well go with the 920 for the sake of 0.2 ghz. but a good cooler and the 940 should oc grate and I doubt much bottle necking would happen then!!!
