will not install OS

I am having trouble getting Windows XP Pro on a system. It boots up does all the checks then when its says Setup Is Starting Windows on the blue screen it does nothing else. Could this be a MB problem because i swapped out HD and get the same problem

Faulty memory? Do the numlock lights respond when you toggle it?

Put the drive on a new motherboard with same RAM no problems only thing i changed was chip and mb. Could the processor cause that kind of lock up?

That that case you'll have to reinstall the OS ... too much has changed

Didn't have an OS yet was doin an initial install of XP on a blank drive. Not sure if it was that board or the processor witll have to do some more experimienting i guess. Is working fine with the new board and chip will just use it. Finally got those systems in there put back together and gettin em back to there owners my wife will be happy lol
