Will Personal Internet Info & Passwords Stay on My Hard Drive?

Would appreciate some advice on this. I'm planning on selling my old computer.
While I don't have files or anything, I've made alot of purchases online using my credit card. Does this info & other personal info like banking, addresses, phone #'s & internet passwords, remain on my Hard Drive, even if I wipe all the personal data off my internet browsers (mainly Firefox & on occasion Internet Explorer)?

I think there are programs that can remove all this stuff for you, but a full reinstall of Windows will do the trick. I'd suggest reinstalling, because I wouldn't trust these programs in not taking your info themselves.

Well even a reformat on the drive won't make the data non-recoverable. There are some programs you can run to right over everything to corrupt it making it hard or impossible to recover. But just a reinstall or reformat professionals can recover the data on the drive... but someone has to be desperate to go through the process thats involved

A Windows reformat would be find, IMO. As ThatGuy said, one would have to be desperate, and have some fancy software to recover everything in a legible format.
