Will ripping the PS/2 box off the board break anything?

I would not just rip them off, as that could cause problems. It may be possible use a soldering iron to remove it, thus minimizing and silicon damage to the motherboard.

Sigh. Nevermind. Thing's just darn too big. Got it in with some cramming, but my machine wouldn't POST, which is the same thing it did with my last GPU which I think is dead.
So I'm thinking I may have a bad PCIE slot.

Meh. I'll save up aggressively this year and get parts for a new computer.
