if i take my hard drive out that runs 10000rmps and replace it with a 7200rmp hard drive, will there be a noticeable difference when i play game on optimum settings?

you will probably notice a difference in load times, but the game should play the same

Shorter loading times.. No difference in FPS. But fraps or any other recording-tools doesn't decrease your fps when recording as much as it would compared to the 7200rmp.. Not really worth it..
