Will these new cards suit old board?

Hey everyone,
I am not good at hardware, I need your help guys.

I have this old enough motherboard: p4vmm2 and ATI Radeon 9200 (128 mb) as my video card.
The video card is DDR; AGP 4x. I would like to upgrade it. I have found some variants, would they suit my motherboard, since:
1) nearly all of them are AGP 8x and higher
2) nearly all of them are GDDR2 and higher

the videocards:
1) Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4650 Grafikkarte (AGP, 1GB GDDR2 Speicher, 2x DVI, 1 GPU) Full Retail
2) VisionTek ATI Radeon HD 3650 1 GB DDR2 AGP Graphics Card 900284
3) Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD4650 1 GB AGP Video Card GV-R465D2-1GI
4) ATI Radeon HD4670 Grafikkarte * 1024MB (1GB) * AGP * NEU * Dual DVI TV-out * (HD 4670)

P.S. I don't know whether the motherboard itself should support GDDR2 and so on. The RAM I have currently installed is DDR DIMM, I believe.

Doesnt matter about the memory on the video card. Most APG X8 video cards are backward compatible to APG X4.

StrangleHold, thanks for the prompt reply!

So, did I get you right, that my insanely old motherboard, which supports only DDR1, will be fully compatible with these DDR2 videocards?

Yeap, just make sure you have a power supply that will push a new card.

thanks, I have another quick question, then. Please have a look at the screenshot below.

I believe I have 64-bit Bus Width. Does it matter? Because, for exampe this card: VisionTek ATI Radeon HD 3650 1 GB DDR2 AGP Graphics Card 900284, claims to have "High-speed 128-bit HDR (High Dynamic Range) rendering". Will it be compatible?

Again, please forgive my ignorance.

Yes, AGP X4 and X8 slots both are 32 bit and run at 66mhz. In your photo, thats your Memory bus on the card, not the AGP bus. The memory on the card makes no difference.

I feel like I am draining the precious time of a hardware guru :)
If they are " both 32 bit" and the video card I am going to buy is 128bit (I don't know what it means) is that okay?

And the last question. I'll try to put it simple, as I understand it: in order to get the card working I should replace my PowerSupplyUnit, that should have sufficient voltage (please see the screenshot below) am I right?

The 32 bit I am talking about is the AGP bus. The 64 vs. 128 your talking about is the memory bus on the video card. The cards memory will make no difference, just means the newer cards memory bus is faster.

The wattage your showing is what the processor can use. You would need to open the computer and see what is says on the side of the power supply.

You will need to update your power supply. Its only a 250W model. The bad part, it only has 8 amps and 96W on the 12V rail.

thanks for the replies, gentlemen.

I am going to google some PSUs. I will post links to them in the thread later today. Please come back soon.

back again, sorry for not posting during a weekend, surprisingly had 2 very busy days.

I have searched on the Internet for the PSU. It seems they have different "power wires (cords?)" and this is why I am a little bit confused, whether they all will suit my mother board and this videocard: ATI Radeon HD4670 (the one we've chosen).

Have a look at the PSUs:

FSP Group SPI PRO 500 500W ~$53
FSP Group ATX-550PNR 550W ~$53
LinkWorld LW2-500W ~$27

as always: thanks for help!
