Will these parts work with games such as Oblivion, FEAR, and CIV IV?

Athlon 3800+ w/ HTT

eVGA nForce-4 SLI Chipset Dual DDR w/7.1 Sound, Gb LAN, S-ATA Raid, USB 2.0, Dual PCI-E MB

1 gig ram

2x Nvidia Geforce 7600GS 256mb w/DVI + TV out Video

250 gig hardrive

Dolby Digital Surround 7.1 Sound Card

And windows xp home edition

And for playing on dsl would a Onboard LAN Network (Gb or 10/100) work?

What socket is the Athlon 64 3800+? Cause it has to be the same as the socket on the mobo. And I bet you could get a nice card for the price of two 7600GS. Like a 7800 or 7900 series card. And what is the PSU you're gonna use for that rig?

not sure, im making built to order compiters on ibuypower. I know pretty close to nothing about computers, but i do think theyre compatible. The processor is a 939 and i'm not sure about the motherboard.

The mobo is also socket 939, or so it says on eVGA's homepage. There is no such thing as AM1, before AM2 was released the socket 939 was used which is still popular.

Now it's just the matter of GPU and PSU. Cause you can get a single card that outperforms the current configuration you have for the same price. And you have to make sure the PSU is sufficient.

EDIT: The 7900GT is a very good card, I suggest you get that one instead.

whats psu? i think all of the parts they give are compatible with each set up because each time you go to a different set up theyre are different mobos/vid cards

Power Supply Unit. It's what powers the machine, giving it the right voltages like +12V, +5V, +3.3V etc.
