Will these speakers be compatible?

My friend wants some new speakers. She has a Dell computer and the green, pink, and blue audio ports. Will these speakers work on her computer or is she going to need a sound card?

yeh, she can just plug some in....but not in 5.1...only 2-channel

she'll want a soundcard with 5.1 or better capability to fully use the system.

yes that and then get the logitech X 530's or the X 540's - I have the same sound card and the X 540's and i love my sound system so i would recommend both.
