this is my mobo:
http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=PM8M-V

See how the shorter section of the AGP slot is towards the back?
Would I have to get a video card with a connector like this?:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161229

Or would a card with a connector like this work to?:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150269

Wikipeida says no:

(red the compatability article)
But then again, it is wikipedia, so it may be false...

Either one will work on your board. The first card is just sloted that way to keep it from being put in a 3.3 volt slot. The last card can be used in either 3.3 or 1.5 volt slot. It was up to the manufacture if they want to make it backward compatable because of the voltage difference.
