hello, i am going to be building a new computer and i was wondering a couple things. The case that i want to build is a cougar challenger case and it supports atx and micro atx mother boards. This being my first build i dont know some of the things i need to know to make my motherboard match up with my power supply witch is what I need help with. the motherboard i want is a Biostar ATX LGA Motherboard (TZ77XE3). and the power supply i want is a Cougar CMX 1000W 80 PLUS Bronze Series Power Supply. will these 3 things work together without any problems? please help and thank you for your time:)

Unless you are running 3 video cards in SLI/crossfire, you will not need a 1000 watt power supply. What you have listed will work though. Can you list the rest of your specs?

i dont have anything bought yet but im going to bump down to a AX750w corsair and i am going to be running a touch screen fan controller for a 200mm a 140mm and 2 80mm fans. Also i want to keep room for water cooling later on down the road so i am going to leave myself with some extra power to run a pump if i ever need to with the 750w. also do you have any suggestions on what kind of video card i should run, i don't play many games but only a few so what do you think would be a good choice? aslo one more thing:),i have a hard drive in my current computer when i get this new computer put together will i be able to just transfer the hdd over to the other computer? Thanks for your time.

You will only be able to use the old drive for storage, you will not be able to put the drive in your new computer and boot into windows. It don't work like that. It will either boot loop on your or blue screen and you won't be able to activate the install on the new system. You will need a new copy of windows.

The video card you need depends on the games you play. And you if you don't play high end games then you don't even need a 750 watt power supply. A 600 watt unit may suffice.
