Is 550w psu enough for my build??

Okay so basically, is a 550W OCZ Fatal1ty PSU going to be enough for 2 HDD's a 1090T processor, a XFX 6850 graphics card and some fans ?

or should i go with one of these ?

It'll be plenty. The recommended PSU is for the whole system. This PSU has 450w on the 12v rail. The 1090T draws 125W at stock, and the 6850 draws 127W at stock. HDD's are like 25W each. That's a total of 302W, which is being on the safe side. It'll power it just fine.

It'll be plenty. The recommended PSU is for the whole system. This PSU has 450w on the 12v rail. The 1090T draws 125W at stock, and the 6850 draws 127W at stock. HDD's are like 25W each. That's a total of 302W, which is being on the safe side. It'll power it just fine.

Careful, 12v ratings on power supplies are misleading. For example look at the 550w fatality unit he posted. Its 550watt max but has TWO 12v rails at 25a each. That would mean (25x12)x2 = 600watt. Obviously this is impossible as the whole PSU is 550watt
