I have gigabyte s-series 945 mobo with E6300 core2due processor.I am thinking of buying a nvidia6600 card(PCIEx16).Will it good enough to play the latest games at medium settings.Coz i am thinking of upgrading to DX10 cards sooner in future.

depends on the game but sure. Rainbow Six Vegas or Company of heroes or Fear maybe low settings. Older games med should be ok. How much are you paying for it?

I wouldnt get anything less then a 6600GT, the 6600 most likely would play current games around low-medium settings.

I have FEAR and I play it on 1024x768 at medium setting with my geforce 6600
