Will This Be Ok?

Would this be better than a standard heat sink and fan?
Yep

Yep
I found it a pain to get my old heatsink off while the motherboard wasn't in the computre, Won't it be harder now that it is?
I think if you have a normal ATX case it will be a lill tricky. But is possible to swap the HSF with the mobo in the case.
I would remove stuff surrounding it e.g. HDD, G-card, PCI cards, etc... just to give your self a little more room.
But If i was you I would pay like an extra 5 quid and get a Zalman cooler or summin copper :)
But the prob with some of the Zalman stuff is you will need to remove the mobo to install!

You can put the PC on its side to change the HSF. It is a bit of a pain to remove the HSF, but it shouldn't be too bad. A couple of screwdrivers are about the easiest way.

You'd be better off to replace the entire HSF than just the fan, and you couldn't use that one anyway (stock Socket A HSFs used a 60mm fan).

That HSF is better than stock, but not great. Why do you want to change it? Are you having overheating problems?

No, I don't have any heating problems, I just wanted to change the fan and was wondering if it was better to get the fan with a heatsink or whithout one... I'll probablt just change the fan... So 60mm?

The airflow rating seems a little small for a CPU fan. You can get an adapter in order to use an 80mm to 60mm adapter, which would allow you to use a quieter 80mm fan without sacrificing airflow.

Would that be Ok though, I mean its got to be better than a standard fan that came with it, Thanks a lot for the advice guys!

Yea, it should be great. A standard 60mm fan probably doesn't push anything close to that.

Awesome! I rekon it should help bring my temps down a bit too, I know that 38C is Ok, but I don't think it would hurt to lower it...

Is that a 120mm fan slot in the back there? putting an exhaust fan back there will draw out the hot air so it isn't sitting by the CPU and getting recirculated.

It has holes for either 80mm or 120mm... The PSU has a fan underneath that sucks some air out that came from near the CPU...

So I can't have a fan adapeter can I?

The fan slot at the back is for 80mm fans... there's only one problem, The back of the case is covering some of the holes for me to screw it in, but only on one side... Do you think could drill them out, or could I get away with only screwing in one side?

So you can't fit an 120mm in there? You could drill them out, but only screwing it in on one side may be a bit risky. I'm not saying you couldn't do it, but it would be better to have all 4 screws in.

Nope, It isn't big enough... Yeah, I just don't know how to go around drilling them out... I could do one side, but like you said, a bit riksy!
