Will this game run?

Hey I am buying a notebook and I want to run GTA Vice city on it. These are the specs:

Minimum:
800 MHz Intel Pentium III or 800 MHz AMD Athlon or 1.2GHz Intel Celeron or 1.2 GHz AMD Duron processor
128 MB of RAM
8 speed CD / DVD drive
915 MB of free hard disk space
(+ 635 MB if video card does NOT support DirectX Texture Compression)
32 MB video card with DirectX 9.0 compatible drivers ("GeForce" or better)
Sound Card with DirectX 9.0 compatible drivers Keyboard & Mouse

Recommended:
Intel Pentium IV or AMD Athlon XP processor 256(+) MB of RAM
16 speed CD / DVD drive
1.55 GB of free hard disk space
(+ 635 MB if video card does NOT support DirectX Texture Compression)
64(+) MB video card with DirectX 9.0 compatible drivers ("GeForce 3" / "Radeon 8500" or better with DirectX Texture Compression support)
DirectX 9.0 compatible sound card with surround sound



What laptop would run that? I have $650-700 to spend. Can I get one that will run that? Thanks

I'm sure there will be a lot of stuttering. Pentium 3 with only 128mb RAM (probably a generic video card), can't really do much now a days except basic computing. Chances are, you may not even be able to run it without glitches.

I think you read that wrong, thats not his computer, thats the minimun requirmens for the game...
 
Oh, whoops. Sorry. As for a $650-700 laptop, I've seen some Acers and Compaqs pull it off, but its not the full 3D + texture effect. But if you're used to playing that game on a low res PS2, then I'm sure you'll be fine. Sorry about the earlier post. Been a long day. :D
 
Yeah you should be fine, you should be able to get the recoomened settings on alot of labtops for that price.

Its cheap cause it has been refurbished.
Its your chance to own a perfect laptop...

Well, if you don't want to spend too much money, think about getting a refurbished items,

this model is more expensive and perheps its not as good as the refurbished one.
