thanks. i was wondering what kinda gains id see...i need more ram cache3x 256k? too, so i think im gonna spend like 300.00 to upgrade my optiplex gx1. wondering if id be better getting new pc, or will these make a noticiable difference

i would build a new one with the spareparts from the old one. optical drive/hdd/videocard. etc can save alot there

I wouldn't waste money on that. I would save alittle money and build a new computer.
