Your motherboard supports it, so yes, you can go ahead and upgrade if you want.

But, assuming that you're going to be using it for gaming, I would recommend something better than a 5450.
 
Okay thank you, much appreciated :) I might use it for a bit of gaming but the games I play (hardly ever) should cope just fine.

the video card you planning to upgrade should be work good for you. There is problem. You might not able to upgrade PSU because it is dell. Be sure it have same color wire pin on new PSU. Again, i recommended that you get new computer that is not BTX, it is not stable motherboard type.

Can I do this by avoiding changing the PSU? Is it as simple as plugging in and installing drivers? Sorry I'm new to all this. Thanks

Yeah. You can do that without upgrade PSU because it is low-end rated video card. They don't need a lot of watt and amp. It is pretty easy. Just installing video card then installing drivers. Recommended if you download newest driver from internet.
