Hey Im ordering a EVGA 123-YW-E175-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 750i FTW SLI ATX Intel Motherboard (Evga 750i mobo) from newegg and i was thinking if a Pentium 4 cpu would work with this mobo.
Dunno. I wouldn't think so, but here's a question:
Why would you want a P4 to work on it anyways?
Pentium 4s are outdated, old and crappy. Now, don't get me wrong, some of the best P4s can handle some of the even newest games pretty well and is great for an average user, but that motherboard is more of an enthusiast product, something a hardcore person would get - and at the present P4s (or any Pentiums for that matter) are far from hardcore. In the eyes of people who know they "need" that mobo P4s are crappy.
Do you have a spare LGA775 P4 CPU you would like to reuse (dunno why else you would use a P4)? If so, what exact model is it?
