It should work if you have a laptop with PCMCIA card slots on the side.

As I said it will work with that setup, BUT it has to be a laptop with a PCMCIA card slot and your sig doesn't say anything about that...

That card is designed for a laptop, however they do make adapters so you can use PCMCIA network cards in a PCI slot on a desktop. But I dont know why you would want to...

The card you were looking at was designed for a laptop. For desktops you get USB adaptors and network cards. USB adaptors are probably better because they just plug in and work.
You should probably get a USB adaptor like this.

But you could get a built in netowork adaptor like this.
