i was wondering if it was possible to use the creative sound blaster installation cd from my desktop on my laptop. i recently reformatted and am not sure which driver or software i need, im just assuming that the sound blaster software is better than my integrated stuff.

so this will work with my laptop and the sound card i already have in it? what is the benefit of using this driver instead of the original...thanks

I believe the driver that StrangleHold is the original driver that came with your computer.

That is the Sound driver for your laptop, thats all the drivers for your laptop. I thought you did not have a driver for your laptop and was wanting to use your desktop cd
