Will upgrading to a better monitor actually make much difference in-game graphically?

Hi guys, just a quick and possibly very simple question.. I am currently using an:

(AG Neovo H-Series H-W22 22 inch TFT LCD 1000:1 300cdm/2 WSXGA 1680 x 1050 3ms DVI-D)

And all I want to know is whether the graphics in-game would be any better (And how much better) If I were to upgrade to the following monitor:

(ACER ET.VS0HE.001 23" Monitor wide DVI LED Full HD DVI/VGA 1920x1080 250cd/m2 100M:1)

Thankyou in advance :) !

Colors might be a little better and your resolution is higher on the second so yeah it would look a tad better. But in terms of like shading or anything like that, no. Just better and sharper colors I would expect. Not really worth it to upgrade I wouldn't think.

Vertical resolution increase only looks 30 pixels to me, so you will not see much difference, but 1080p is a standard.

Yes, it's better, but not really as far as graphics go.
I've found that the bigger the screen, the more impressive the game looks. I have a 20" 1680x1050 monitor, and when my friend brought over his 23" 1080p monitor, it basically looked the same. My other friend's 23", however, is a completely different story since it was 75hz instead of 60hz, and his color really pooped out. Another time, the first friend brought over a 27" 720p (1280x768) TV and it actually looked really good. Even though it was a lower resolution, the screen was larger, and it felt a lot better to play with a PC. However, I would rather have the better 23" because of how sharp everything was, and I really loved how smooth it was.
To shorten things out a bit for you, your pros are:
A little higher resolution,
A little bigger,
Possibly brighter and better colors.

I would say it'll just be a little better, but if the refresh rate (hz) is higher than the original monitor AND you have a more powerful computer or device on it, then go for it, because it's really awesome to see things smoother than 60fps. Also keep in mind that jumping up from 1680x1050 to 1920x1080 might take a few frames in gaming depending on the power of your computer.

There won't be a huge difference, probably not worth an upgrade.

I would buy a 25'' atleast 1920x1200 screen to notice a decent upgrade. Or you can go with a 27'' 2560x1440 like I have and have a true gaming experience :D But you better have a really good graphics card!
