Will videocard fit in this computer?

Hey there. I'm fairly new to computer knowledge and forums. I'm gettin a new computer and I have this graphics card, I was wondering if it will fit. Thanks for your help.

Since you've got one PCI Express x16 slot, it should fit in there.

What are the current hardware components in the computer? It will be helpful to know those in determining if that GPU will work or not.

Looks like a pretty new machine, the Radeon 4670 should definitely work in there.

An important thing about installing a new video card is to uninstall the old video card drivers and make sure you have the most up to date drivers for the new card ready to install.
 
Awesome, thank you!! And one more question if you don't mind ... the power supply is pretty weak on the new computer 300 W and the graphics card says min 450 W. what would happen if I didn't upgrade the watts?

It is more than likely a cheap/crappy PSU too if you purchased that computer prebuilt, which I'm assuming you did, so you will need to upgrade it.

I'd go with something around 500W, and the most important thing is make sure it is a good brand name PSU, not some cheap brand because it will not last long and when a PSU goes out it can sometimes damage other components of your computer. A good brand in PSU in no particular order would be: Corsair, Antec, OCZ, Thermaltake, Silverstone.
 
And always remember to ground yourself by touching a metal part of your computer before reaching into your system, the smallest static shock can permanently damage your components.
 
I would avoid a mix between Geforce chipsets and ATi graphics cards if I were you. Also you need a good quality 450W PSU such as the Corsair to run that.
 
I've ordered a 500W PSU by thermaltake and do you this computer might be a better way to go?? :confused:

Current components as to what I have right now? If that's the case then I have no idea. My dad built this computer for me atleast 6 years ago so not really sure what is in it. 1 GB Patriot RAM, GeForce 6800 gs/xt, 80GB hardrive. that's about all I know of it lol. this is why I am purchasing a new computer
