Hi, I dropped a book behind the computer, may have hit one of the cables behind it.
Now there is no image. How do I best troubleshoot? I have tried a second screen, I have also tried connecting the screen to the image output, the one that is not through the graphics card. The computer starts up, the keyboard and mouse light up, but the screen does not receive a signal. I have also tried 2 other GPUs.

I am going to give the PC away tomorrow to a friend who is having a birthday, it should only have Commandos Behind Enemy Lines, Heroes 3, Red Alert and Age of Empires installed. How do I start checking what's wrong? packard-bell-editingstation-v0-out84au3wowd1.jpgI would appreciate your help.

It most likely damaged the cable that was plugged into the video card, probably bent the connector and broke the connections inside. Replace the cable. On most older pc's if there is a dedicated card plugged in, it disables the onboard graphics. You would have to remove the dedicated card to use onboard.
