win 10 lock screen makin me angry

I don't get it. My settings are set as such, but within ~30 seconds, not 30 minutes, the display reverts to the lock screen & then the monitor goes black. It's really annoying.

What am I missing or not doing correctly? =/

That's not the setting you change. It's an independent setting hidden from the control panel.

This is for Windows 8, but I would assume it'll work with 10.

Did you read the article? It requires you to make a registry change for the option to appear.

Sry. I'll go back. I thought maybe it was only working for Win8

few hours later:
thanks. i feel like a fool now cuz it was so short & i didn't even scroll down further.
was so weird that it would literally time out after 60 seconds.
so annoying typing in my password/key every time.
started thinking sm1 had compromised my pc & was messing with me =/

Unfortunately though, after installing the program, it still times out after 60 seconds. Am i supposed to key in values too? I thought i only had to run the program..

You run the registry edit and the value can then be changed in the advanced power menu.
