win 7 64 slow internet

hi,

I recently installed my copy of 64 it windows 7 and since have experienced painfully slow (a minute per webpage) loading times. oddly the actual download rate seems to be ok. I've tried the following:

Reset TCP
disabled DHCP
disabled IPv6
set 'duplex' to half, full etc
each tried then restarted

again oddly when i use a '3' internet dongle the internet works fine under the ipv6 go anywhere wireless.

anyone got any other ideas ?

What do you mean by a 3 internet dongle? Did you install the correct drivers for all the hardware?

the drivers were from a install disk for my motherboard, didn't actually check but i think they're the latest.

reinstalled drivers from realtek website and seems to be working fine

The drivers from the cd are never the latest. Always get the latest drivers from the manufacturers website.

the problem has returned! every so often the internet returns to its slow pace. downloading items still remains high but web browsing is impossible. please help.

Have you tried resetting your modem/router? Are you sure your system isn't riddled with malware? Have you scanned it with malwarebytes? Could just be a bad wifi dongle.
