win 7 wallpaper help

I know how to put say my photos as bacground on win 7.

But how can I pick a solot color say black for the desktop color that will be behind my photo?

Go to where you select the picture/photo as background. Where you can browse for a picture.

In the bottem there is a thing called 'Picture Positioner' with center, stretch etc.

Right under here you click the link 'Change background color' and voila.
