Whenever I boot-up my computer it shows a few options such as, start up windows normally, and other things. Then it goes to the loading screen as if its going to get to show all of my login profiles, but then it goes all black and an error messag shows up that says, "Application is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette." then I just close it and it just goes black with the mouse visible, after waiting I am forced to restart and it just happens again.

Can someone please advise me on what to do??

start up windows normally, and other things
well what this means is that your not shutting down the computer properly, let it shut down.

i dunno anything about the error message and the black with mouse prob either. soz.

The reason it is now asking you how to restart Windows is because you have shut down Windows incorrectly, as to the black screen, I might suggest you giving your graphics card a clean, it seems as if everything is starting up normally as YOU are restarting the computer, not the computer restarts itself.
