win7. iM help

Windows Live is usually the way to go, and obviously the one most recommended by Windows. Skype is also a good program for messaging as well as voice and video chatting.

I use yahoo messenger, but I have never tried anywhere else.

Alot of people use AIM too. not sure who runs AIM though.

I use Skype and Windows Live. I have my Facebook account connected with Windows Live so I can chat with people on Facebook through Windows Live...

I use Pidgin which allows me to connect to many different IM servers and talk to friends & co-workers that use MSN or AIM or YM or others.
