Winamp Problem

I just installed Winamp. I tried to play a radio station that I previously was able to play with Nero, I Got the following message.

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an associtation in the set association control panel.

I am at loss what to do.

What is the extension of the file you're trying to play?

Winamp may not be compatible with that extension.
Check if it is selected under Preferences - File Types. If it does not exist in that list, that winamp is not compatible with that file.
