How do I convert audio into AAC or MP3 using Winamp Pro?

if you have a registered winamp pro, you need to click on the ML button on the player controls segment of winamp, this should bring up the options you need

go to the devices tree and then setup the preferences by right clicking on the cd drive you wish to use for ripping from a cd. then when you insert a cd it will look for the cd tracks and then you can select the tracks you want to rip

I dont want to rip a CD just change the format of songs I have into AAC or MP3.

there isn't an option for that in winamp, but there might be a plugin that will allow you to do this
