window media player colour problem

i just DL an attachment from an email and i tired to ply the video but it played really blocky with the brightest colours iver ever seen. what can i do to slove this problem? thanks!!!

It's probably how the video file was coded. Poorly coded, compressed, etc..
Or it can be your video card.
