Girl at school with a laptop that continually BSODs with System_Thread_Exception_Not_Handled every time Windows boots. Apparently the issue is to do with corrupt graphics drivers so it doesn't surprise me that she's getting this BSOD a lot since she has a GeForce in her laptop (NVIDIA + Windows 10 = fun fun fun! ;) ). The accepted solution is to use DDU to remove/reinstall drivers in Safe Mode. However, I can't even boot into Windows let alone Safe Mode. I also can't boot from any Windows 10 USB drives - I keep getting the same BSOD as soon as Windows tries to load files from the USB stick. I'm going to try using a Windows 10 DVD tomorrow with a USB DVD drive, but I'm just wondering if anybody else has any ideas?

Thanls!

Sorry spirit I've never used windows 10 and I not good on the software side of things.
What files are you trying to load of the usb stick, just a normal windows 10 setup usb or a usb stick with a copy of windows already on it?
If you are having problems loading of a windows setup usb then like you say the next thing I would try is a windows cd, if this does not work then I guess there could be a hardware issue.

When you are doing safe mode did you boot from cd and run BCDEDIT /SET {DEFAULT} BOOTMENUPOLICY LEGACY first?

Thanks for the replies and sorry for the late response. I just used an external DVD drive and reinstalled Windows 10 from a DVD rather than a USB drive (after having removed her hard drive to back up the data first).
