Windows 10 upgrade?

Also Ms says that they're gonna give free upgrade to everybody that has win 7,8 and even win 7,8 no genuine

I was just about to post a new thread on this. Glad I saw this one first :good:
I just read an article on it yesterday morning. I read a ton of comments. The general consensus seems to be that it's a marketing ploy for Microsoft wanting to entice people to purchase other MS software programs that exclusively work with Windows 10. Ploy or not, it's pretty cool. Apparently, they're trying to go in the direction that Apple has gone with OS updates, since it was said that they Windows 10 will likely be the last "big OS" for quite some time.
Does anyone know when it gets released? Was it April like they had originally thought they would release it?

While true, Windows 10 upgraded from a pirated version of an earlier OS is still "non-genuine".

Where does it say that? I heard they are giving the upgrade to pirated version so they will be genuine.
