When I click in the search box in Windows 11, a menu appears, displaying options such as Brave, Firefox, and others. However, Chrome never pops up. I must type chro before it pops up. How do I get Chrome to be here?

Chrome is my default browser. When I click in the search box, the word Chrome shows up with a magnifying glass. When I click that, it goes to Bing, which I don't want. Even when I click the Windows sign, Chrome does not show up under C. It seems my computer refuses to acknowledge Chrome's existence.

That first picture is microsoft edge opening the bing search engine. The 2nd picture you can see where it says chrome but that is a search shortcut not the actual program. See how its got the magnifying glass icon to the left?

What you need to do is do "google chrome" so that this shows up.

Then right click on that icon and click on pin to start

and then you'll get this.

You can drag and drop the icon anywhere you wish in that list.

My advice would be to reinstall chrome at this point. Something is not right, I can search either by just google or just chrome and it will appear as it shows in my screenshot.

When you click on the start button and then click on all on the top right of that window and you scroll down to the G's, does chrome show up?
