Windows 2000 blue screen on startup

Hi all , Im at my work now and I am getting a blue screen on bootup... it is a registry issue... is repairing windows work in 2000 because its never worked for me in XP

Id love to give you more information but everything is in german and my german is terrible
 
If you don't want to quote that long 0x00 error code , yes you can repair.Most problems will go away with a simple repair process but if it doesn't then you have to Paste the error code here.
Are you able to log in safe mode ?
 
Thanks for the response, i know that I wasnt very clear... I am not at work anymore but this is the error i have gotten... I can not log into safe mode or command prompt...I have tried repairing but that did not work... This is the error i receive

Ive checked online and nothing ive tried has worked... Tried last configuration, safe mode.. I think im screwed

Tried recovery twice... i cant get to a command promt to run chkdsk... i get the blue screen right before it would let me type at the prompt
 
Then you probably have a hardware problem.
Rams sometimes get the better of a windows setup with a BSOD.
 
Hey, No I can boot off the cd and get through the installation process or a repair process... the thing is my boss doesnt want me to reinstall windows. If this were me id just reinstall windows or probally format. I think we might just use the backup from 6 months ago. I have the sata drive hooked up via usb to this computer so I think we can extract the vital files for his work info.

So I guess that is what I will do unless someone knows a quick fix

Ive tried
-Replacing files in the system 32 folder
-Repairing
-ran diagnostics
-I can not get to a dos prompt because the computer screen turns blue
-It is def a registry issue

I think if found a fix by using the dos prompt but I can not get to it

ah now right before it gets to the blue screen it just restarts by itself... blah its so confusing!
