windows 2000 problem

im tryng to fix a computer that has windows 2000, the problem is that whenever i fiinish the dial up connection it automaticallly restarts within seconds... i ereased the modem so i could reinstall it along with its driver but now i cant find neither on the internet and i dont have the disc :(
i tried the F8 restore thing and nop it didnt work..
ive tried everything i know for days ... thnx for the help!
 
kind of computer right now i cant tell you but the modem is a SoftV92 56k V90 Fax Modem... ive looked for that all over the internet...
