That someone is mixed up. I think x64 bit runs a lot faster and better than the 32 bit. And it will handle more memory. Granted, most games and programs use less than 2gb of ram most of the time. But if you do any CADD, or video and photo editing. It will come in handy. The only real problems with x64, is software and hardware companies takes their time to get up to par with it. I run duel boot Windows xp pro x64 bit, for my main OS. And have the Windows7 RC1 on the other partition. I was no fan of Vista. But I really like the Windows 7. And I had no problems Windows xp pro x64 either.
