Windows 7 drivers missing

I just did a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate and there isn't a driver for my network adapter. Therefore I cannot download the driver. There is also not as good of a driver for my graphics card and no driver for USB flash drives.

HP dv7-6165us

Would need the make and model or if its a custom build, list the components.

I edited my previous post (HP dv7-6165us)

Also I got all of the drivers from my old install now, but it says I need permission to put the drivers in the folder. Is there a way to bypass this?

Did you maybe by any chance get the disks containing the drivers for your hardware?
If yes,use them.

If not then simply download the drivers from the internet according to the name of your hardware.
If you do not know the name of your hardware, use the free software such as DriverAgent to scan your hardware in order to get the name.

Cheers!

I can't connect to the internet because I don't have the driver to do so.

Just burn them on another computer, Then install them on your Notebook.

I don't have any DVDs and thats the only way to get something on or off of the computer so I'll pick some up tomorrow. I don't know why I didn't think to check HP's website for drivers. I must really need some extra sleep. Thanks. (Now I need to shut this off because it's so hot my hands are getting burnt by the keyboard)

LoL use the computer from which you are writing on this thread to download the drivers.

Then use an USB stick.
If you don't have even that then you can use your sellphone to store the driver on and then copy it from there to your laptop using of course an USB cable used to connect the sellphone to the computer.

That was my original thought, but that driver's missing as well. Once I get the network adapter one the rest will be easy. I was being lazy when I said that I don't have any DVDs, I'm right next door to a store that sells them for an unreasonably high price, I'll just grab one some time tomorrow.
