ok so here are my specs

sata 250gb 7200rpm westgate
intel 1.6GHz core 2 duo e2140
brand new ati hd 4550
new added 3gb ram 667MHz

ok so i started out with 1 gb of ram and added 2 gb dual channel of kingston value ram 667 MHz, but the windows 7 experience index for ram only went from 4.5 to 4.7, thats all! from added 2 gb
Also, since i put the video card in, my hard drive went from 5.8 to 3.0, any ideas?

The experience index's are not something you should follow. I wouldnt expect much of a jump for ram seeing as how it was already quite high in the first place. As for the vid card you should make sure all your drivers were installed correctly.

well its really weird, the hard drive is now 3.0 and it used to be 5.8, i fragmented and it runs good but still says 3.0
