Windows 7 Family 3 Pack for 150.

But, my question is... do you get three totally separate licenses?
Like, if I have two computers I wanna upgrade at home and then I wanna be really nice and upgrade my neighbors computer (that I don't like at all). Will that computer be linked with mine? AKA: Since it's bought by me will my name be anywhere on her laptop? Basically, do you get three separate licenses lol

Probably not. You'll probably get one license that's good for 3, and you never know, it may be tied to your Homegroup. Meaning they must be networked or something, idk.

What it would be, is that the software of Windows 7 and all 3 licenses belong to you.
You may do with them what you please, but you will be the bearer of the cds/dvds.
It would basically be the same thing with a 3 license software like Office.
I'd recommend keeping them to yourself and your family members and such.

Hmm... I guess I'll have to wait and see when it comes out.
Because. To upgrade to Windows 7 now is 119. Or the family pack is 150. So... it's just the point that for the 150 if you got like 3 separate licenses and you and 3 friends want to upgrade... just buy the family pack and each person pays 50 instead of paying 360 dollars in total.
