Hello there!

I got done after writing this document for three weeks...Suddenly (today), my document appears to be blank. I didn't download anything..Didn't go on any porn sites (surprisingly), or anything. In fact I didn't go on anything after I finally finished my document, which was finished yesterday.

there's the link to the document ^

When I highlight the document, it appears to be words there, it's just nothing shows up. It's as if all my text is white. However, the text is clearly black. The font color is still blank, so I don't understand what's going on here.

It's almost as if things were looking too good in my life, so this of course had to happen to even it out.

No matter, I'll never type and save anything in wordpad ever again, that's for sure.

Oh, and when I tried opening this in Windows XP, it shows a string of squares, so it looks like the file is definitely (mysteriously) corrupted.

Any way to fix this? If anybody fixes this, I'll pay that person 10 dollars via paypal

Thank you very much!

Hmm I just thought.....Can't I restore my computer to a previously known date? Like say, just a few days ago?

So, it's Google docs document, right? Maybe, it's your connection. Can you try to download it as a document file? Maybe you can try to recover it with free document recovery program.

Nah, it's a wordpad doc. I just uploaded it to google docs (basically Megaupload) to share it to you guys

the amazing thing is that this has actually happened to various people in the past. After googling 'wordpad blank' I got a few other results of the SAME THING happening to them

It's ******* weird

Type colors into the Start menu, then choose Change window colors and metrics from the list.

In the Item box, choose 'Window', and then change the font color to another color. Click Apply and check for any change in Notepad. You can continue making adjustments, followed by Apply, to check for desired results.
