I and my wife have three computers
1. An Acer 5470 running Windows 7 Home Premium
2. An Acer 5920G running Windows 7 Home Premium
3. An Acer One 533 running Windows 7 Starter
All computers are protected by a password on startup.
They are all connected wirelessly to my Virginmedia Router and they are all members of the Microsoft Home network.
I also have a 2TB WD NAS hdd with a wired connection and a wireless Lexmark printer, both connected to the router.
In the file explorer all three computers can see the other two under "Homegroup" and "Network". All three can see the NAS hdd and print to the Lexmark printer.
I have also gone through many of the folders, on each computer, that I would like to share on the Homegroup and made the folders shareable (read and write).
However when I try to read/copy files from another computer I usally get the error message "you do not have permision to do this".
Can anyone cast any light of this dilemma and, if possible, point me to a suitable webpage explaing in detail what I need to do to get a Homegroup fully working?
