Okay, i have failed, and ruined everything again.

I had 32bit windows 7 operating system, and i thought it would be great to install 64bit windows7.

Installing goes to 22% and hangs there, and about five minutes of hanging i get:

Error code: 0x80070017.

So what is it and how do i fix it?

Please Help! :o

I tried to install from cd, later i copied everything to HDD, and tried to install from there, but i couldn't.

If needed:

Asus M4A770TD Pro
Phenom II x4 955 3.2Ghz
Corsair TW3X4G 2x2gb 1333
MSI Cyclone R4890 ( Radeon HD4890 )

I did a bit research for you and most of the problems i found are that the dvd/cd you use to install the OS might be damaged. Are you using a original dvd/cd of Windows 7? and also what are your pc specs?

MB: Asus M4A770TD Pro
CPU: Phenom II x4 955 3.2Ghz
RAM: Corsair TW3X4G 2x2gb 1333
VGA: MSI Cyclone R4890 ( Radeon HD4890 )

I have only 1 dvd drive, i use the version downloaded for 30 days or something.

I write in to a new, and clean dvd, and nothing helps.

Okay, i burned another cd and now it doesnt hangs, but crashes instantly at around 18%:

error code: 0x80070570

If you have vista x86 installed, you can upgrade from that to win 7 x86, that may work for you beacuse it doesn't need to insatll it, just upgrade it, may bypass whatever is making your system hang

Sorry for the double post.

And i know you can install windows from another partition with command prompt, or something. just need to find location of your iso, but it did not helped me. It supposed to be like this:
E:
cd win
setup

But that does not work. Why?
