I think my operating system is conflicting with some thing and I keep loosing sound. I have some USB plug in speaker hooked up to my desktop. They have worked fine for the last month but here in last 2 days they stop working and come back on when I unplug and connect them back up. They seem to be being dropped from the system for some reason. When there is no sound if I go to my Device manager the speaker are not shown, there gone. When speakers are hooked up and working they are listed on the device manager.
I have listed in my programs Reltek Audio Device manager. In the Sound manager there is also listed AMD HDMI, Amd high difinition audio device. Dont know if these are conflicting. Actually need to research since I dont know if I even need this stuff . Doesnt windows7 come with it own audio driver? I am not big into recording high quality music or video. thanks
side note: I was using my laptop yesterday with windows xp and the same thing happened . The laptop suddenly showed a message that there was no Audio driver. ????
