I updated my windows vista 64 bit to windows 7 64 bit and i didnt like windows 7, i tried reformating with vista again and it wont let me do it. So i ended up deleting windows 7 and i figured since vista wont work i will put windows 7 back on, well windows 7 woulndt work. Ive tried over and over finally i got fed up and put my old windows xp 32 bit on. So im on that right now... Ive heard many things about windows 7 corrupting harddrives. I have done complete reformats on the hardrive and still no luck.

How come you didn't like windows 7??. 7 much better than vista...
And yes, you're doing something wrong...

i know my harddrives not dead, but when i put vista in, it gets to the copying part and stops, sometimes it doesnt even get to that and it doesnt show me that i have a harddrive to reformat. In windows7, it gives me a message like you need to install some kind of drivers. Please insert a cd,flashdrive, or floppy to install the drives i dont understand cuz ive never needed to do anything like that. Windows 7 and vista are not recognizing that i have a harddrive in my system, i thought maybe the discs were curropted but i put in another harddrive and they botht work fine...
