I upgraded my Windows 7 from 32 bit to 64 bit and now all of a sudden my video card isn't recognized. It is just using the VGA adapter. I tried reinstalling the drivers for my card but nothing. Does anybody know how to make Windows recognize my card?

how about windows 7 device manager, hardware. find your video card. you will see and likely a exclamation. (yellow). right click the card and find a better update. else goto the site for your model. find update for video. see if one is available for 7. (32 or 64 bit).

Well i didnt do exactly what you said but when you said device manager a lightbulb lit. My card wasn't showing up so I had to disable the vga adapter and manually install the drivers. I just used the 'Have Disk' method to install the drivers for my card and voila! it worked.

Thanks for the help
